Getting Sustainability Right – 24 days of ideas!

February 5, 2017 By Kirsty Fantini 4 Comments

When we “talk sustainability” we often think recycling, composting & veggie gardens… however it is so much more!

While sure… teaching children how to recycle is an most important aspect of  environmental sustainability but there are so many more…. including social sustainability!

When i think “sustainability” I think about attitude and behaviours towards our environment. Recycling our lunch scraps is just not enough!  My aim is to post an image and a brief description over the next 24 days. These images will reflect sustainability in it’s many shapes and forms and  hopefully get you thinking.. get you inspired and help us nurture our next generation to become conscious environmentalists!

So if you would like a sustainability “idea-a-day” then follow my Facebook page and feel free to share, post, ask questions and make comments!

My first image is a simple one…. “Creating & designing using recycled boxes”!  An oldie but a goldie!!

Below is a link to a poster you can place on your door/wall for families!

We need boxes
