Early Childhood Educator’s Day – 2nd September 2020

August 28, 2020 By Kirsty Fantini

Wednesday 2nd September is Early Childhood Educator Day! A great opportunity to say “thank you” to those dedicated, passionate & valuable educators…. those educators who make a difference to the development & well-being of young children!

Do you need some ideas? Here are a few of my faves!

*************************************************************

Chocolates!

Chocolates are always a winner… but they need to be good quality 😉 Also need to consider if they are suitable for those with allergies or those who are health conscious!

For those health conscious / sugar free educators

There are some sugar, gluten & dairy free cakes these days that taste amazing.. just like this cacao mint slice 😉   No description available.

Delicious Food Platter!

I love this idea as it can suit all tastes… arrange a beautiful lunch platter for the day with healthy options and treats!

Wine!

Yes please! If you know your educator’s preferences… a lovely bottle of wine / champagne is a great gift!

Re-usable Coffee Cups

To support sustainable practices & caffeine habits a re-usable coffee cup is a great idea… maybe even arrange for your local coffee van to visit and shout a round of coffees! For those who know me well….   yes please… as it will go well with my cacao mint slice 😉

Time in Lieu

If your team isn’t too large you could schedule TIL and allow each educator to have a half day across the week

Brunch it up!

Shout the team out for brunch on a Saturday morning… always a great team bonding experience as well!

Gift Voucher

Gift vouchers are great as you can choose your own gift. Myer/Coles, Woolworths and ITunes gift cards I find are great as they offer varied store options

Good old fashioned Flowers!

You really cannot go wrong… who doesn’t love receiving a beautiful bunch of flowers?

Stationary!

I love stationary, especially nice pens… maybe some of your educators would love some personal stationary items? See the source image

Personalised Thank You note!

No matter what the gift… i think a personalised thank you note makes any gift special!

I wish you all a wonderful Educator Day!
