The Educational Leader 6 Part Series
This great series that builds upon knowledge and skills, builds confidence and provides great resources to assist with the role as an EL as well as the A&R process.

It involves a 1 hour webinar held every 2 weeks on Thursday at 11am AEST running over a 3 month period. There is email contact between webinars to support the Educational Leader. If they are unable to join on the day a recording of the session will be emailed the very next day.
The series covers several areas of focus with each session providing the Educational Leader with tools to implement new practices/ actions.

The 6 sessions are;
– Being an Effective Mentor: specifics on how to mentor effectively, strategies to set goals and implement changes
– Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Skills to develop effective, professional communication to build relationships and trust
– Reflective Practice: Learn how to engage in & support reflective practice among the team and embed into everyday practice
– Supporting the Program: Strategies to support others with documentation
– My role in Assessment & Rating: Explore compliance and what the EL needs to know / can demonstrate for A&R
– Self-Care: this final session will explore the importance of mindfulness and awareness of one’s own & others’ stress
