About Kirsty Fantini

My name is Kirsty Fantini and I am the Director of Early Years Training & Consultancy (RTO # 91839). My qualifications include a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood, Dip. Prof Counselling and Cert IV Training & Assessor (TAA).

I have worked within the Children’s Services Industry for over 20 years within both the private and non for profit sector. After years teaching children and managing child care centres, I then moved into the VET sector and became a Trainer and Training Manger and it was then I discovered the need for high quality trained staff and improved customer service and student support for those studying.

I wanted to write to you on behalf of my team and thank you for the workshop today. We have already had a pre-discussion about some of the things we have taken away from the presentation and thrown out some ideas for how we might change things up.

I’ve been to workshops before on planning cycles, but none have laid it out the way that you did - in just 1.5 hours it was made clear to me that services tend to fall into the activities trap! I guess that so much time is invested in putting together really great activities for children that educators tend not to think about why they were doing it in the first place, and instead focus on how the activity went.

Very informative, and I appreciated your walk through of carrying out analysis - not really something that was covered in my diploma, and not really something that my team has been shown how to do.
