Employable and Inspiring Educators

August 29, 2018 By Kirsty Fantini Leave a Comment

Educators can have a long and lasting effect on a young child’s life and ideally we want these early impressions to inspire, challenge and foster a positive well-being for these young children.

While there are abundant training providers and programs available for prospective and experienced educators the quality of the education and training provided as well as the development of employability (foundation) skills and advocacy for the early years has never been more important.

At Early Years Training & Consultancy, we pride ourselves on not only providing quality education and training to our students and future educators, ensuring they understand the importance of their role, but also providing professional development opportunities for educators currently in the industry through our on-line webinars.

Children are spending increasing amount of time in early childhood settings and educators are taking on primary caregiver roles, therefore play a significant role not only in the learning and development of children, but more so the nurturing of each child’s value system, development of identity hence, resulting in, ideally, a healthy level of resilience.

About Kirsty Fantini

My name is Kirsty Fantini and I am the Director of Early Years Training & Consultancy (RTO # 91839). My qualifications include a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood, Dip. Prof Counselling and Cert IV Training & Assessor (TAA).

I have worked within the Children’s Services Industry for over 15 years within both the private and non for profit sector. After years teaching children and managing child care centres, I then moved into the VET sector and became a Trainer and Training Manger and it was then I discovered the need for high quality trained staff and improved customer service and student support for those studying.

Testimonials

I would recommend Early Years Training and Consultancy for everyone who wants to continue their education in the early childhood field. As a student from Victoria, I've found Early Years Training very thorough with information, and very quick to get back to you if you need help with workbooks or general questions. A lovely organisation to be apart of.

Bethany, VIC, September 2015
Excellent support! Responds to questions promptly and give an answer that is easy to understand. Always here feedback about my work and things that I could improve. Flexible if in difficult situations eg. when you let me change the video option on my placement because of the hand full of challenging behaviours we had.
